Parades, Ceremonies Honor Veteran's Day Across The Region |

Veterans in Cambria County taking time on Veterans Day to remember those killed in the shooting massacre at Fort Hood. This ceremony was at the Jackson Township Senior Center. A Central Cambria High School Teacher who served in Iraq talked about his experience in the military.
An honor for Veterans in Cambria County, as thousands lined the streets of downtown Johnstown for the Annual Veterans day parade. The parade was followed by a ceremony in Central Park to honor the military and recognize disabled veterans.
Veterans were saluted Wednesday with a parade in Somerset County. Residents of Windber lined the streets to pay respect to past and present veterans. Families marched down Graham Avenue with homemade signs. The World War II committee is also working to collect donations to build a memorial honoring locals, who were either killed , missing in action, or taken as prisoners of war.
