Nearly seventy people died from domestic abuse in 2012.  That is according to the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence.  A local lawmaker is now pushing to toughen state laws by requiring accused abusers to wear GPS monitoring systems.  On March 28th retured State Trooper Mark Miscavish gunned down his wife, Traci, at her workplace, The Country Market, in Philipsburg.  This was before shooting and killing himself.  Representative Scott Conklin says the gps monitoring system could have saved her life and that is why he wants to make it a law here in Pennsylvania.
