Dinner will no longer be served at a downtown Johnstown restaurant.
Wednesday will be the last time 110 on the Park will be open late. The owner Shaun Dougherty says it's easier to attack the early and lunchtime crowd, rather than in the evening. He also says financially it doesn't make since to stay open into the evening. Lunch
service will remain the same.
Over the past decade, nighttime foot traffic in the downtown has dwindled, and without more businesses attracting customers after 5:00pm, other business owners fear it's just going to get worse.
Dougherty
said the establishment has been attracting more group gatherings
including business meetings, reunions and other such specially catered
events. The restaurant can however, be booked for an evening event.
