Robber Uses Teen To Do His Dirty Work

Police in Cambria County may have solved a string of burglaries.
24-year-old Timothy Schachten is now in custody for two separate crimes in Conemaugh Township

The first burglary happens on November 27th at a home on Third Street in East Conemaugh Township. Schatchen and his alleged accomplice, Zachary brown broke into the home and took $15,000 worth of items that included a safe, jewelry and prescription medications.
Then on November 28th,- police say Schatchen dropped off a 17 year old at Scoffie's Stop and Shop on Frankstown Road.
Police and store owners identified the juvenile through surveillance video and after talking to him; the teen admitted Schatchen dropped him off to break into the store.
Police are still investigating several other burglaries in the area to see if they are connected to him.
