Police in Blair County are looking for a man who was illegally working for a local contractor. Felipe Luis Martinez fled from officers in Duncansville over the weekend, he's only permitted within a 25 mile radius of the Mexican border. Another man is in the Cambria County prison, he was caught with an outstanding ICE warrant.
Meantime workers in Centre County are fed up with a different local contractor, who also employed illegal immigrants. A group of carpenters have been picketing near a Phillipsburg construction site. Last month police caught seven illegal immigrants working at the site. And the carpenters say they want the company in charge of the construction, to hire those who need it.
The president of the contracting company says he had no idea that illegal immigrants were working for the construction project.
