Anchor/Reporter Sherry Stalley

Sherry Stalley has been the co-anchor/reporter for Fox 8 and ABC 23 since 2001. Aside from her co-anchor position with the Ten O'clock News, she enjoys reporting the news and knowing what's going on in her hometown. Her main emphasis is on crime and spot news. On a daily basis she covers everything from fires to accidents to high profile murder trials. Sherry says, "I feel it is very important for an anchor to also be part of the entire newscast. At Fox 8, both Jim and myself make it a high priority to know what's important in the community, know what’s going on and tell the people about it, rather that just read the news. That's what makes our job so rewarding and worth all the time and effort it takes to put on a local newscast."

Sherry moved to Johnstown in 1992 from Twin Falls, Idaho, where her parents still live and she visits as often as she can. She married her husband, Andy, in 1995 and has two children; Jessica 5, and Drew 9. Outside of work, her time is spent with her family who she says is always her number one priority.
