State police say a Bedford County man is behind bars after he allegedly threatened to kill and eat two people.
Police say on Thursday, the two victims were reportedly visiting 41-year-old Luke Bartholow, at his home in West Providence Township, when he allegedly threatened to kill them, himself and anyone who “walks in or leaves.”
According to the affidavit, investigators say Bartholow also reportedly swung an axe inches away from one of the victim’s head, sticking the object into a wooden railing.
Online court records show that Bartholow is charged with multiple offenses, including felonies for aggravated assault and child endangerment.
He is being housed in the Bedford County Jail on $100,000 bai
