Authorities say a Bedford County woman is facing charges for allegedly assaulting a police officer over the weekend.
Police say on Saturday, 29-year-old Tessa Fagley, of Woodbury, allegedly punched and bit a Windber officer outside of a home along Bedford Street in Paint Borough.
According to the affidavit, police say the assault occurred while officers were responding to the scene for a reported domestic dispute in which Fagley allegedly smashed a man’s windshield.
Online court records show that Fagley is charged with multiple offenses, including a felony for aggravated assault.
She is being housed in the Somerset County Jail on $5,000 bail.
