Sec Rubio says purge of USAID programs complete with 83% gone, remainder now falling under State Dept
Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced early Monday morning that USAID had slashed 83% of its programs, following a six week review of its spending by DOGE, and the remaining programs will now be under the purview of the State Department.
