Authorities in Jefferson County say a Brookville man is behind bars, accused of spending “hours” sending sexually explicit messages to whom he thought was a 15-year-old girl.
Police say 62-year-old Dennis Reisinger was arrested earlier this week after he was reportedly confronted by members of the online group 814 Pred Hunters.
According to the affidavit, Reisinger had allegedly sent dozens of sexually graphic messages to a member of the group, who was posing as a teenage girl, for the past month.
Police say Reisinger had allegedly arranged to meet the “teen” on Tuesday evening where he was taken into custody by Reynoldsville Borough Police.
Authorities say Reisinger reportedly admitted that he believed he was talking to a teenage girl.
According to online court records, Reisinger faces charges of statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors.
He is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on $100,000 bail.
