Johnstown Deportation Case Update

The man simply identified as ASR was being held in the Moshannon Valley Ice Center in Clearfield County. That’s why his case has landed in the Federal Courts in Johnstown.

Judge Stephanie Haines ordered ASR to be kept in Clearfield County and the United States until she could hear his petition to stay in the US.

Court documents and emails cast doubt if that order was followed by the Trump Administration.

Judge Haines originally set an emergency hearing in the case for last Friday , but according to court documents, that got extended to Today.

In a filing by ASR’s Attorneys, they claim the facility where he’s being held couldn’t accommodate a meeting with their client until this Thursday, the 24th.

Judge Haines granted a delay until then.

In a email Today, ASR’s Attorney said his client is in a Texas facility known as Blue Bonnet.

But Judge Haines ordered ASR to be kept in Western Pennsylvania on the 15th, and again on the 18th.

There’s been no court documents filed that showed she changed her original order.

Today a lawsuit was filed by his attorney’s against that Moshannon Valley Center’s Facility Administrator, along with Federal Officials and agencies including Homeland Security, ICE, the State Department, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and President Donald Trump.

We will continue to follow ASR’s wherabouts until we learn more
