Authorities in Cambria County say the Pittsburgh man accused of shooting and killing a 41-year-old man in late January in the Moxham-section of Johnstown has pleaded guilty in the case.
Officials say Michael Cogdell pleaded guilty to third-degree murder earlier this month in the death of Marvin Price.
Investigators arrested Cogdell in Las Vegas in March, months after the shooting.
Police allege that Cogdell shot and killed Price inside his vehicle along the 600 block of Park Avenue on the afternoon of January 23rd.
Investigators say Price suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the fatal shooting.
Price’s “wife,” Lexus Simms, is also facing charges in the case after police say she allegedly stole a phone from the scene of the crime that reportedly belonged to Cogdell.
Authorities say Cogdell faces up to 38 years in prison.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 19th.
