Penns Valley Student Removed After Bomb Threats

Penns Valley School District officials say a student was reportedly removed from the building on Thursday following an investigation into multiple threats being made against the school.

According to a social media post from the district, the student was identified and removed from the school, “with no plans of returning.”

District officials say the student was allegedly responsible for two “general” bomb threats that were reportedly written on the restroom wall, in recent days.

Earlier this week, the district made the decision to close all buildings in response to one of the alleged threats.

Officials say the incident is now being investigated by state police and the Centre County District Attorney’s office.

The identity of the student is not being released.

Authorities have not yet confirmed what charges the student is facing.
