Portage Robbery Suspect Turns Himself In To Authorities

Authorities in Cambria County say the suspect in Tuesday evening’s crime spree in the Portage area has been identified after turning himself in to police.

Troopers say 49-year-old Ricky Clark Musselman Jr., of Claysburg, is accused of robbing the Family Dollar, in Portage Township, and attempting to rob the Portage Vapor and Cigar Store.

Police say further investigation also determined that Musselman burglarized the Lucky Laundry laundromat, where he was caught on video damaging multiple PA Skill machines with a hammer.

Investigators say Musselman was arraigned Thursday on felony robbery charges, as well as misdemeanor counts of making terroristic threats and criminal mischief.

He is jailed at the Cambria County Prison on $75,000 bail.
