The Annual Showcase For Commerce kicked off Wednesday evening with a social event in downtown Johnstown called “Nightcap on Napoleon.” The event near First Summit Arena featured live music, food and drinks as a way to socialize before attendees get down to business over the next few days.
Showcase For Commerce is a nationally renowned business and industry trade show where more than 100 businesses both locally and around the world set up exhibits showcasing their business in hopes of earning contracts.
David Zucco, Director of Government Relations for Kongsberg Defense Corporation saying: “We have local food vendors, local bars that provide drinks and food for all the attendees, so people who are from out of the area attending the showcase really get a chance to get the flavor of Johnstown and see what we are all about.”
This is the 33rd year for Showcase For Commerce. A number of events and activities are scheduled Thursday and Friday in the Johnstown area. You can find out more about them at showcaseforcommerce.com
